Hello everyone!
I have commented on my YouTube channel my game from the 2012 Istanbul Chess Olympiads against Swaminathan Soumya from India.The game started as a quiet Caro-Kann, but I quickly moved it to an extremely aggressive variation that my trainer GM Alexander Riazantsev and I had prepared for a special occasion several months ago. My win allowed my team to win against India 3-1, and later on we won the Olympiads Gold medals, for the second time in a row. As of today my YouTube channel counts 998,600+ video views, so I will soon be celebrating my first million YouTube views. Game Chess Queen Kosteniuk vs. Elina Danielian, Kazan Grand Prix 2012

We present the game played on June 20, 2012 between the 12th Women’s World Chess Champion, Chess Queen Alexandra Kosteniuk and Elina Danielian from the Kazan Grand Prix 2012 (official site). There are 2 rounds to go. You can play over the moves in the Applet below, generated by Chess King software (we modified the board color from green to pink). Pay particularly attention to the moves 23. Nxd5+!! and 24. e6!! and 27.Qh8 with unavoidable mate to come. Analysis Game Kosteniuk – Kovanova (Chess King Theater)

Today I’d like to share with you a detailed analysis of my game from the recent Russian Team Chess Championships from Loo-Sochi against Baira Kovanova. It’s a very interesting Ruy Lopez opening and shows a nice battle of a good Knight against a bad Bishop. To publish my game on my blog I entered the game into Chess King and used the easy Export-to-Blog button.

Chess Analysis Video Game Kosteniuk – Kurmann

Hello everybody!

I have received lots of emails asking to explain my game against Olivier Kurmann from Leukerbad (Loeche-les-Bains) from this summer’s Swiss National Chess Tournament. In one variation I was ready to sacrifice my Queen (with the move 20. Nxe6!). So I made a video where you can see all the details of the combination that started with 16. c5! and culminated in my opponent resigning after 20. Qh6! A nice miniature, especially nice since I played 1. d4 on the first move, which usually leads to quiet games, but that was not the case in this one!
