The 1st Alexandra Kosteniuk Chess Camp took place today at the Miami Chess Academy, and over $1,000 of prizes were awarded. Every kid got a medal and a prize, with the top winner in the General category going to Robert Perez, congratulations! Next came Jose Diaz and Jonathan Lau. The top girl in the tournament was Annaby Pozo. More details can be found on chessblog.com . This is the first USA tournament conducted by Alexandra, and she counts on the second edition next year to be bigger and better.
