Women’s European Chess Championship 2011 in Tbilisi, Georgia
Hello everybody!
I just arrived to Tbilisi. The women’s European Chess Championship 2011 will start in 2 days. I have one extra day to enjoy the capital of Georgia, all the more so it’s my first time in this country.
The first thing I noticed after arrival
in the airport of Tbilisi was a big advertising poster of the coming championship. By the way, you can click on the bigger photos to see them even bigger 🙂
At the airport I was greeted by the famous georgian chess player Nana Alexandria. The other player on the photo who arrived on the same flight as I did, was Svetlana Matveeva.
This is my room view which I will be enjoying for the next 2 weeks.
I will keep you posted about the results and the games of the championship when it starts, as well as tonight I will make another post about my second day in Macedonia.
