Today was the 4th round in Calvia and one of the most important matches has taken place: The USA against Russia. While both teams are very strong, Russia won 2 to 1 without losing any game. On the first board Alexandra Kosteniuk drew against Susan Polgar, on the second Tatiana Kosintseva beat Irina Krush, and on the third board Ekaterina Kovalevskaya drew against Anna Zatonskih. There are still 10 rounds to go, anything can happen, especially since the Chinese are also shooting for the Gold. Come back often and follow our reports.
